Community and World Outreach
- Community volunteering and monetary support for charitable organizations: Woodstock Clothes Closet, Bread of Life Food Pantry, Response, Shenandoah Alliance for Shelters, Shenandoah County Pregnancy Center, Social Services families, Shenandoah Free Clinic, and Shenandoah Memorial Hospital.
- Perpetual care for the elderly, shut-ins, and those in need
- Monetary donations and quilts to Lutheran World Relief and volunteer service at the Church World Service Center in New Windsor, Maryland
- Church service projects for the benefit of the community and world needs
Bible Study
Open to all who are seeking deeper understanding of the Word and teachings of Christ. There is open discussion with study of books of the Bible using different translations and commentaries. Join the group on Thursdays at 10:00am at the church for study and fellowship.
Music Ministry
Worship through the gifts of our choir, a liturgical dance group, the hand chime choir, and our youth featured periodically on various musical instruments.
Adult Fellowship
An open interdenominational gathering of men and women meet in Mt. Zion's Social Hall, the third Tuesdays at 10:30am for a pot luck covered dish meal, program, and fellowship.
Women of the ELCA
The Women of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America perform a variety of activities that reach out and benefit the community and the world. Refer to the calendar for times of activities.
Java with Jesus
This offers a unique time of leisure and spirtual support over cups of coffee and tea. The fellowship is open to everyone on Thursdays at 8:30am at the Woodstock Cafe.
